Have you ever stumbled upon an interesting site that you thought everyone could benefit from visiting? That happened to me a few minutes ago. It is found at www.biblemap.org. This is a great resource that mashes up Google Maps and biblical locations found in the scriptures. You simply pick a chapter in the Bible and the site will pinpoint locations in the passage on a Google map. It is possible to view entire events such as Paul’s journeys, just click the events link at the top of the page. Don’t forget to click on the red pushpin. This will take you to an encyclopedia entry from the International Standard Bible Encyclopedia. I normally use Firefox, but couldn’t get the site to work right. If you have problems with Firefox, be sure to try the site with Internet Explorer. If anyone knows why my Firefox won’t work with the site, I would be interested in hearing the solution.
