Then Came the Morning

the_empty_tomb004.jpgImagine the emotions of certain women as the went to the tomb early that first Resurrection Sunday. Their hearts were breaking at the thought of losing their dearest friend. All of the promises He made now seemed so empty. Death had taken their beloved away from them. They went to pay respect by anointing His body for burial. They were confused, walking in a dazed condition until they arrived at the tomb to find the stone had been rolled away. Confusion quickly turned to amazement at the declaration of the angel, “He is not here. He has risen as He said He would.” Hope sprang forth for the first time in three days. Jesus was alive. He was alive indeed. This morning’s message was a two part message which you can listen to by following these links: Then Came the Morning Part 1 | Then Came the Morning Part 2, or you may visit our sermons page.
