Seeing Him Who is Invisible

We returned yesterday morning to our sermon series entitled “Strolling Through the Hall of Faith,” with a message on Hebrews 11:23-29. We were introduced to one of the key characters of the Old Testament, Moses. We saw that Moses’ faith began with the faith of his parents when they willing risked their own lives and hid Moses for three months before placing him in the basket in the Nile River. His faith is also seen in the many decisions he made to sacrifice power, pleasure, and possessions, and to embrace persecution. We were only able to get through half of the message in the morning, so we continued with part two in the evening.
