We had a large crowd at the funeral home yesterday. I am glad we had the linked video playing in the chapel. The video is just a collection of photographs through the years. Watch the video for a good laugh, a good cry, and thank God like we do that He allowed us to know such a special man.

Thank you for sharing pictures of your family. It’s very obvious that Allen loved his wife, children and grandchildren and you all loved him right back.
You were right – I laughed, cried and remembered. I thank God for allowing me to consider Allen a “cousin by marriage”.
He will be missed.
In the short time I got to know Allen as a member of the SCV camp #45, I found him to be passionate about everthing he undertook to do and from the video he appeared to live life to the fullest. He will be missed.
Thanks for sharing this, Julie and Jeff. I am going to miss Uncle Allen. There are so many memories flooding my mind right now. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Love ya’ll!

Watching that video reminded me how much love your dad had to give. He was always showing the love of God to others by his kind words or deeds. You can see it in his eyes. He cared deeply about people. He was a great husband, dad, grandpa, and friend. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
